Also, if this is not the solution to your problem, do a forum search using the terms black and skin

BTW I just updated the graphics card issues Sticky (Grandpa's link above.) Certain Forceware drivers are causing issues with freezing.

alright still no fix, i've updated all my drivers and that, it's still all sliced up looking, this isn't a devistating problem, it's just really annoying.

Someone in the FrostWire reported the same problem ... & I think there's also been other LW users with the issue. The suggestion is that it's a java bug. Whether it's fixable by bug fixes in the program or not I don't know.
