poor sound quality

i have no idea how to fix this and none of the other threads have given me any help.

Problem is this: when playing back any of the music i have downloaded...the music is audible but the singers voice is wacky...barely audible at all and sounds echo like.

The problem occurs no matter what I use to play it.

Any ideas?

Thanks for your help

P.S. Was fine earlier today...don't know what happened.

Check your audio option settings. There's a setting which allows for FX. The audio setting icon might even be visible in the far right of the task bar. Check it out. Somehow your settings might have changes. Either that or your graphic card settings have changed. Just a thought! It sounds more like a system issue than a file issue.
