having trouble playing an .avi movie
 

I downloaded an avi video and am trying to play it. It opened by default in WMP but the only thing that plays is the audio. I think I just need a better player or need to adjust something in WMP but I have no idea

You will need the necessary codecs for your WMP or you can download VLC media player it has all the built in codecs you need and plays all files.....
May I also suggest you check the forum rules out as talk of piracy is forbidden.....

Go to www.divx.com to get the DivX codec. Download the middle one!;)
