Disable Browse?
 
Read in Wired that you can decrease risk of RIAA aka Big Brother sending you some nice lawsuit papers by disabling browse feature. Scoured options a couple times and don't see anything that seems to do this ... did i miss this or did limewire ? Long live The Lime!

There's no browse option as such. Having chat enabled is supposed to make it easier to browse, this isn't always so;)
To turn off chat Tools > Options > Chat > untick 'enable chat' > apply.

* This isn't a guarantee that people won't be able to browse your files;)

hmmm... sounds like a new feature needed; ability to disable browse of user's files/drive. article went on to say that most later versions of file sharing software come with this feaure disabled. doesn't mean the artice was right of course. but just the same, if we want to fly lower under radar .... the app should let us ...
