Do I need PAL or NTSC in Australia

hi,

I have been searching the forums and have found lots of info on PAL and NTSC but no one seems to say what is compatible with which country. I am in Australia so im just wondering which format i should choose???

BTW, just to let you know, I share all the files i have on my comp...see Im doing my bit so it would be great if someone could spare a sec to help.
