magnet links is there more magnet links sites exept http://www.magnetmix.com? |
There are two that I know of. http://www.peerweb.org/ Has a lot of files. http://bitzi.com/ is another one. I think you have to register to use them, and with bitzi you need to search for the file you want. I think this is what you had in mind:). |
Use bitzi.com to find better files, coz many files of p2p are named FAKE. |
The files listed at http://www.peerweb.org/ have been verified as being good files. Download with confidence.;) Edit: I said files but they're actually magnet links. The files are not stored on the website. When you click on a link it's downloaded onto limewire. |
I don't think the magnet links at bitzi work ... or are out of date for Gnutella users. The links might work for the other networks. But as suggested, Bitzi is very good for checking to see if there's any reports about the file you're after. It will also help you to see if the file is known by any other names. I haven't tried the ones at peerweb, but they do suggest 'most' of 'their' links are for Gnutella2 which is not the same as LW uses. Similar story at bitzi. |
I've had a fair amount of success with peerweb, but sometimes it's hard to find sources to d/l from. They do launch in limewire though and I try the tricks to keep them looking for sources. So it's kinda hit an miss. |
