Is there a way to kill the auto-launch feature after it's been installed?

If you mean so it doesn't run when you start your computer. In limewire go to Tools > Options > Advanced > System Startup > untick "Run on System Startup" then click apply. Then it shouldn't run until you start it.

if you mean when windows starts up then;

select tools, options, advanced, system startup and make sure the box 'run on system start up' DOESN'T have a tick in it.

if you mean the auto connect when you run limewire then;

select tools, options, connections and make sure the box 'connect on startup' DOESN'T have a tick in it.

Gads your typing must be slow. Actually he beat me by a couple of mins today to an identical answer in another thread except his was a little better so I deleted mine. I think he's been taking speed typing lessons. It's usually me who beats him & then he deletes his post. lol :D

BTW ilpadrino, just be sure it isn't related to this (1) LimeWire continually Popping up every few seconds & also Opening at System Startup, & also this LimeWire popping up - how to eradicate it
