| I have LimeWire Pro 4.9.37. Now I have an error saying that a file is corrupt and I need to reinstall. My 6 months have gone by so I can't get any tech support and I can't redownload to reinstall. What can I do? All of a sudden the program goes out and it took an hour to read and find somewhere I can ask a question. I am not looking for an update but the program I bought should still work. I should be able to reinstall it. Last edited by Mirrorwindows; January 17th, 2006 at 12:33 AM. |

| Before you consider re-installing, try deleting your LW Preferences folder whilst LW is closed; instructions here: Point #2 in Fixes for Limewire (sample image included.) & try again. If still problems try uninstalling & reinstalling Java using the "Offline" installer version. Do you not have a backup LW installer? LW Pro does not use online installation. So you would have originally downlded the offline installer. Check to see if you still have it anywhere. |
