*need limewire help !!*
 

I have the newest version of Limewire installed on my computer, version 4.10.3 and every time I open the shortcut on my desktop is says "looking for shortcut....." and so I have to install Limewire every time I restart my computer..... all my songs are still there but this is not right..... anyone know how to fix this super annoying problem ?? If not I just may switch to another program cuz this sucks bad.

I saw from your email addy that you use AOL. One of their offers is a security version which includes a spyware program. Unfortunately it isn't a very good one & it thinks LW is a spyware & thus removes it. You have a choice. Check the program's options & set it to ignore LW. Or disable it & get a decent one that's recommended by the spyware forum. 1.Spybot - Search & Destroy (FREE), perhaps a good idea to also get this one 2. ad-ware (FREE)

i also have the same problem.. i only started using limewire a couple of days ago.. i have already downloaded 15 songs, it has happend about 3 times that i have had to re-install limewire. my songs were all stil there except for when i re-installed it this morning and all my songs werent there so i started over.. im confused about where to go in my aol to block them from thinkin limewire is a virus or something ..could u tell me like exactly where those things are.. thank you =]
