Default My Limewire Boggs down

I have Limewire 4.10 and when I try to download any programs or music and movies it drags my computer down to the point I can't do anything else ... I am running a intel 530 hyperthread processor with 1Gig of ram and I don't know whats wrong ...Can anyone help me please

Do you know how what % of CPU it's using?
Does this sound like your prob:

yes it boggs down my computer once I get over 50% and goes as high as 100% but thats like only 100BS and that should not be a problem .... I can run Shearaza and Bearshear at the same time with 95% CPU and don't have a problem why should it be with running Limewire only ??

Hey guys, I get the same thing when I have LW downloading, it draggs the computer, I thought that was normal, maybe not lol..
Im keeping my eye on this thread as well to see what the cause is..

this is what i was talking about in my !!!!!ram!!!!!thread i dont know about the cpu part but i know when i have alot of downloads going it uses alot of my ram i also have 1 gig of ram and if i have a browser running it will take my ram down to like 180

Is it possible for any of you to open LW, leave it by itself & have incompletes start downlding on their own? If yes, please allow this & see if the cpu/ram use is as high as before. And that's without using the search function at all. I'd be curious to know whether the LW file searching is causing this jump in cpu/ram use.
