limewire and frostwire is messed up

Think this has to do with java, but java is working fine on other things.
Ive run Limewire and Frostwire for about 2 months without problems.
Suddernly Limewire stopped working (freezes after a couple of minutes ) and if opened trough console this message is repeated over and over again:

Which versions of FW & LW are you using? Which version of Java do you have? Are you using mac, windows, linux?

Do you have many incomplete files? If yes, do you use the resume/find sources to simultaneously start all the downlds?

I use linux/ubuntu.
I have limewire4.9 and I have
java version "1.5.0_05"
Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.5.0_05-b05)
Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 1.5.0_05-b05, mixed mode, sharing)

I have quite a few incompleete downloads and they start by themselve.

It's basically a Java issue, but a particular aspect of Java isn't functioning properly. See Shutdowns (click on link)
I don't know if that means it's possibly a unix related issue.

I'd suggest uninstalling Java, & reinstalling. It might also be wise to delete your LW prefs whilst LW is closed. For Linux I think they're found here: ~/.limewire (or similar.) But just make a note of all your settings, b/c once you delete these prefs, you'll need to reset all your option settings next time you re-open LW.

If you still have the LW installer, it might also be an idea to reinstall it.

I presume it's not your router stressing out for any reason & losing communication with your computer system. Perhaps the other way around with Java the fault.
