T3 or Higher

1. how long (about) does it take to download a file about 5.000KB big if you have T3 or higher

oh and what is T3 or higher im tinking about geting a quicker
connection

2. and is there any way to tel if a song is going to be choppy that cuts out here and there

any help would be great

:)

If you can download at about 300 KB/s, and upload at 150 KB/s, LW will treat your connection like a T3

at 300 KB/s, it would take about 20 seconds to download a 5 MB file.

Not without downloading it. You can preview it before it is finished, but you can't tell just by looking at the search result.

You could try looking the file up with Bitzi , but I don't know how many music files are rated because of the small file size. Also don't use the limewire media player because it isn't very good.

Wow things are tough there if they block ports for simple dial up connection aka modem connection. Are you sure you haven't checked all options: Connection problems? Check here first! (sorry english only)

BTW what did you mean by ignorant. I had an afghanistan friend who died there 20 yrs ago, run over by a tank the afghan's had captured from the russians. He was a photographer/cameraman. Well .. he spoke french, & some english. I saw the video of his last moments ... a mishap & misjudgement of the tank's speed!

hi there

first i dont know whats a lined connection but it seems like a line connection and unfortunitly as i said this is an ignutent place and there is nothing the country offer but a 33.6 Kb/s connection which is only a phoone lines but used for internet and this is what makes this place ignurant, but some companies with high proces give you 56Kb/s connection...
