not wanting to download mp3
 

i do not have a cd player in my car that will play mp3's if i download them and them burn them to a disc. how do i change it so that i don't download mp3's? if limewire can't do this is there another site that i can go to that will(i don't want to have to pay)? please let me know if anyone can help me with this. thanks.

It's no major issue. Many people downld mp4's & m4a files, then use their cd burner program to burn as an audio cd, not as an mp3 disk. The burner program will convert them if you have a reasonable burner program such as nero or roxio or many others. See Burning an audio CD from your MP3's which is a Sticky sitting at the top of this section. Please in future check all the stickies to see if your question has already been answered. And also learn to use the search button above this post.

If you want to specifically downld aiff, wav, apple lossless, ape, etc. then put their extension at the end of your search title in LW. eg: The blues - wav

But many fewer people share these files because they take much longer to downld.

You don't want to pay? Hope you're not a freeloader also (a person who doesn't share.)

i did do a search for what i was trying to look for but didn't find anything that answered what i was trying to do. but thanks for the info. and i do share, if i didn't want to share then i would pay for it.

Either nobody is sharing what you're looking for, or they're ofline at that time. Keep in mind people from all over the world use gnutella, some of them connect at different times to you. Also there's some people who only connect perhaps once/few times a week or month or weekends, etc.

Personally, I almost always use the Any Type general search as i find it brings in extra results that an audio search might not find. Also keep in mind, some people incorrectly name their files which includes mis-spellings, so keep that in mind when brain-storming for search possiblilities to find the file you're after.
