Which is better Limewire or Puretracks ?

I have been using some of the local sites over the years for downloading tracks for free.., But lately have been feeling that maybe I should be paying for the service.
So I checked out www.puretracks.com and most of al the artists I checked out isn't available for download ( stone / elton john / Beatles etc.. )

is there a better site to do this? or should I stay with Limewire ??
