How wuold I transfer my saved files and lime wire service to a different computer?Please help. Thanx

All you really need to transfer is the incomplete folder intact & complete. That includes the downlds.dat & .bak files. Then if you reinstall LW, put the incomplete folder in the location similar to where you had it before & in your LW options when it asks you, make sure you choose the same location as before. Else & probably less confusing & easier, just install LW on the new computer & set up. Then quit LW. Then replace the incomplete folder with the older one from the other computer.

I totally forgot about your shared files. duh
Well by default your downlds are saved here: C:\Documents and Settings\"your account name"\Shared
And if you open LW, go to menu bar, Tools>Options>Sharing & it will tell you the locations of the other shared folders. You can go to Library window & select these & press Explore button & folder will open up for you. So you can move however you'd prefer. Be that by burning to RW disk or networking the 2 computers, etc.
