absolute crap! it starts off promising, 100 +kb/s then goes down to a pathetic 15 or so. any help maybe please?

BTW LW Pro allows you to downld from up to 10 hosts whereas LW basic only allows 8. LW Pro also gives you much better results when searching for rarer material. I would put my name behind this, it is definitely better for harder to find files. If that's what you're after or not, perhaps the difference is not then so noticeable to you. Just my own thoughts. The 5 peer connection compared to 3 of basic has its advantages even with common files even if not so obvious.

Learning how to use LW to its greatest efficiency is the biggest part. You'd need to read the Stickies spread around the forum to learn about these tricks for searching & set up.
