Is Limewire Illegal
 

I dont understand. If it's illegal to download music from limewire what do you all use it for? For a second I thought to myself that limewire cant be illegal becasue so many people have it, then I went to download it and it gave the infringement warning so I didnt do it. What do you all use it for?

LW itself is not illegal. Downloading copyrighted material is illegal.

Yea it is so don't use it. The less stupid people we have on Limewire the better. Also, You might want to uncheck the licence agreement if you plan on downloading at all. :rolleyes:

no, limewire is not illegal.
 

you know how AIM has a file transfer feature? you can send music to the person you're talking to on AIM. limewire is A LOT like that, only it's on a huge server and you're downloading from random people. and by the copyright warning, they mean you can get in trouble if you swap things that are illegal no matter what, I.E. game emulators, whole copyrighted movies, THAT KIND OF THING. music should be fine.
