download but doesn't launch!!!!!!!!

Hi!!!!!!
I got Limewire 4.0 cause I run on os 9.2. Everything was fine but now almost everytime I download a song it downloads it but it doesn't launch it nor keep it in the library!
I don't know what to do!
Maybe I should get a lower version?
