Is EVERY program a virus -.-
 

Is there a way to scan before you download? Every single ******* program I have downloaded is a virus, trojan, and etcetera.

and ppl wonder why we experienced users continually advise against downloading programs and such

lol, I stopped downloading programs a long time ago. I just need a program, and I'd like to know if there's a way to possibly get it without being attacked with load of ****.

No as peerless said you want programs and games and stuff like that you take the risk of all the nasties that come with them...;)

Buy a mac. Then no viruses to worry about. If you're going to buy a mac, can you buy me one too. :D You can also go to the program site & downld a trial version or buy & downld that. That will overcome such issues. After all, who do you think breeds viruses around the network.

The programes are out there if you look hard enough. Look at filesize, bitziweb and everything else you can think of

Don't forget to share your downloads & other material. Sharing is what p2p is all about. So uploading is just as satisfying as umm ... downlding I guess. But in certain circumstances this isn't applicable. Particularly if it's a quickie download. whoops :eek: :confused:
