Check your version of Java. Go to the LW menu bar, Help > About LW & this will show you which version of Java you have. You need Java 1.5 for best results.

LW will flicker if you hold your mouse cursor near mp3's etc. where the id3 tag will show. This will tend to have that effect.

i have it

i have the most modern java...but it still flickers...it is not just random little glitches though....the tabs disappear, mix up , swap places, and change characters..

the best way to describe it is any text on the limewire program turn in to japanese characters in small pieces.

it is if the text has been cut up and jittered about...much like how they depict security numbers when you join things like hotmail..."please write the 8 letters you can see below...."

is it being encrypted!?!?

My guess is it's either graphic card related or skin related. Change skins & see if it still does it. Also check possible graphic card issues here The way to fix the Blank screen on startup, & also GeoForce 3D setting

yea i went and removed all jave versions, reinstalled latest java se 1.5, and limewire was good for a few minutes. then it went back to behaving like any other java application - crappy.

java is dying off as far as application user interfaces go.

sooner the better too.

learn C++ fools. java sux.
