Have you tried uninstalling Limewire completely, and then reinstalling it ? Uninstall everything, delete the Limewire folder after uninstall + the preference folder + the incomplete folder Remember to close down Limewire comletely, before uninstalling Use the offline installer from Limewire You will find the preference folder under: C:/Documents And Settings/(username*)/.limewire incomplete folder: C:/Documents And Settings/(username*)/incomplete * username being your username A folder called Limewire will be in programfiles (probably empty, but delete it anyway) Also there might be a problem with your java, try to reinstall it too, use the offline installer Get it here: Java JRE 1.5 update 6 Uninstall all previous versions before installing. Use add/remove programs Hope this helps Remember to post back if it works or not, as this is a new problem Last edited by Sleepless; March 5th, 2006 at 04:58 AM. |
