I'm trying to update to the latest version of Limewire but when I enter my e-mail address it says it is invalid. I have my original e-mail receipt from when I paid for Limewire, and it's to the same address that I'm entering. Any Ideas? Thanks for your help

Did you get LW from www.limewire.com ??
If you're trying to update Pro, just go to your personal download page (you would've been given a link when you bought Pro). If your Pro's older than 6 months, it's out of date.

If you bought pro or basic (free) from anywhere else, you've been scammed.

Really sorry but that's a scam. There are heaps around. When you buy LW Pro, that's all you get. I wouldn't rely too much on those codecs being good & I'd surely get rid of the spyware "protection".

If you want a good, free spyware pgm then get Spybot. There's a link to it here, also to Ad-Aware which is a good, free, adware remover

Contact your bank/CC company & report the scam. They might be able to get your money back. Keep an eye on your CCard & make sure no more payments come out of it (your bank might recommend cancelling it, I'm not sure).
