When will Anti-Aliasing be supported in Limewire?

Currently me and some other people with high end GPU's noticed that Limewire will not start up with AA on 8x. I have to turn my AA down to Application Controlled to use it. Any idea when this will be fixed?

This is an issue with Java, you can always try the beta of Java 6.0 to see if it is fixed and if not, report it to the Sun java team. https://mustang.dev.java.net/

Probably never. But why would you want to run at 8X anyway allot of applications are not comparable with 8X if you have it set to application controlled and you are using a app that is 8X it will automatically set it to 8X and by setting it to 8X it does not improve anything that does not use 8X. At least I see no difference. So why set it to 8X ?

Because CS:S, WoW, BF2, DAoC, Doom3 all look better on 8x then Application Controlled.

Well it does appear to work with Java 6 I have been running Mustang for a while just tried it after reading your post et voilą and it appears to work at least on my machine. But I still do not know why a person would run on anything but application controlled. Perhaps some one can enlighten me.

Thats odd I play Half Life 2 and F.E.A.R. and have mine set to application controlled and it switches automatically.
