There's a big sticky at the top of this page about transferring songs to iPod & iTunes:D |
What is Sticky? Hi I know that I am dumb, but I am new, so please explain a little more in detail. i am panicking since last two days, I think that is enough, so please help,PLEASE. |
Sorry:) Sticky threads (in red) are pinned at the top of the forum's pages. They have lots of info about the most commonly asked questions. Just look at the top of the page...you can't miss 'em! |
Transfer of Songs to iPod Hi Birdy, you not replying straight, I saw one sticky but it did not have any reference to iPod. Birdy I am sure you were also new to these all things when you started. So, please understand the difficulty and help or someone else might like to help by explaining in detail rather than dropping hints. God bless you. many thanks. Best, saltar |
Tell me how this Sticky link How to transfer music to my iPod (& iTunes) is not relating to iPod? I mean if you can't see the links for iPod within it then how the heck did you manage to turn your computer on. :D There's links to iPod tutorials, iPod forum, iTunes for both of those plus more for adding files directly from LW to iTunes. |
Ok, I'm not trying to confuse you!! There are 12 stickies at the top of the Open Discussion page. The one you need to look at is titled "How to transfer music to my iPod (and iTunes)". It is second from the bottom. Just above a sticky titled " How to download a complete album". I hope that you can find it ok. Perhaps you would like a link to it? Here it is http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...threadid=36230 |
How's that saying go about the early bird & the worm? I can't remember it at the moment. lol :D |

Further Instructions Dear Birdy and brainy Lord I have so far succeeded in transferring the songs to iTunes library and consolidated them and then put them in recently added folder. Now, if you can kindly tell me the next steps that is how to transfer it to iPod from ITunes, I will be grateful for saving lots of time. Thank you very much. Best saltar |
Simply connect your iPod. Your iPod will update automatically if that's the way it's set. However, I would highly recommend adding songs manually. If you use the auto-update feature which is the default setting, then it will delete previous files on iPod & update with the new playlist(s). http://www.apple.com/support/ipod/tutorial/index.html The setting for manual update is on page 2 of the link I gave in the earlier post. Then you can simply drag & drop the songs of choice to your iPod via iTunes. Or this is a better link for manual updating: http://www.apple.com/support/ipod/tu...tarted_t3.html Play the video tutorial to let it show you how to do this!!! ;) |
THANK YOU LORD OF UNIVERSE Hi Lord Its disgrace to call you lord of ring, for me you are lord of Universe. Until and unless there are lords like you on forums like these, always willing to help people, to share their expertise, no one, I say again, no one can run into problems. People just need to ask! LONG LIVE LORD AND GOD BLESS YOU. Thank you very much for your help. Listening to songs, right now, only because of you. Million thanks. Best saltar |
