What is the difference

I have the 4.10 basic download. I was looking into upgrading to the pro. Then noticed on Goggle that the version is up to 5.9 .
Can't find anything that shows what the improvements are>
Thanks

4.10.9 is the latest version, so I'm not sure what you are seeing on google :)... This is a list of the changees that have been made for each version of Limewire:

and the only place you should download from ins www.limewire.com

All other sites are almost invariably scam sites

I hope this helps

Pro comes with the same version numbers, but connects to more hosts and tends to give better search results, and, depending on your connection, somewhat faster download speeds

burned

I see all kinds of people burned all of the time because they saw an add about limewire on another site or in another search. The official limewire site is put together by the people who developed and update limewire correct?

You can get there and here by clicking the lime symbol inside the program in the upper right corner of mine anyway.

To extrapulate

It is under twenty dollars every six months to keep the most current programs available and you help support all of this stuff by upgrading to pro. I also get about a fifty percent faster download return personally and I get a whole lot more available hosts. I saw it go from about 10 hosts on some files to like over a hundred. But be careful some of it is garbage and don't ever pay anything for limewire anywhere else. You can burn up your computer. Darn Virus bandits!!!
You also get technicle support but I just come here to get it faster.
