Limewire jams up?
 

Hi guys,

Every time I load up lime wire, it seems to run rather odd. It jams up, but when I minimize it seems to work fine again, but after some time and many more minimizes the lime wire box goes white and it crashes.

A friend told me to reinstall Java, but it keeps on crashing.

Any suggestions?

It might be an idea to use your add/remove programs control panel to remove Java. Then downld the "Offline" version to your computer & then install it. Also delete your LW preferences. See points 1-3 here Fixes for Limewire

Also if you have a very large amount of incomplete files then consider doing this Tip: Purge the Downloads Queue! as it generally gives LW a fresh breath of life.
