Can't Burn some Dvd's

why is it that i can burn only some of the mpgs that i download and with some Nero freezes up about half way and will not finish I have had it say it will take 2 hours and when i come back from work (6 ) hours later its stuck at 1:30 hrs left or so!!

Thanks Sam

hmm

the only things i can think of is that maybe it's a bad cd?? have you tried different CDs? maybe it's also something to do with the program or something.. or maybe the entire file won't fit on the CD.

You might try using this software. I had good results on some files with it. Besides it's free, so it's worth a shot. Maybe Nero will read it after it's been converted.

If they are Mpeg2's and they will not burn using nero, try one of the Demuxing programs used for Digital TV - odds are the mpeg is corrupted, and these programs will clean it up for you, allowing them to burn..

Wondering Why: I remeber that I had problems using it the first time too. Just open Windows Explorer and drag and drop the file into the container for the file. Choose the format for the output file and press encode now. It is written in the same folder as the source file.
