Newbie - Downloading Files
 

Thanks to everyone in advance, this message board is filled with such wonderful and helpful people

I am trying to do about 15 downloads (from searches I Have done that are either incomplete or never started)..When I log onto LW, I get the status as either "awaiting sources" or "needs more sources"..Is this common, as these files just never seem to load. Is there anything I can do with the configs or anything else to get these files to start downloading

It's often better to start a new search, rather than trying to resume an old one. Your old source may be offline. Try a new search, vary your search terms a bit, chances are that you'll find a few new sources. There are some tips here to continue files downloading

You should read the sticky at the top of this page "Configuring LW for optimal performance" & there's one in the dl/ul problems section about maximising dl/ul success:)

*Don't try & download 15 files at once unless you have a super fast connection!! Try dropping it back to just a few at a time;)

If you're just starting up LW, it will take a few minutes to find sources... I've found that if I just wait a few minutes, it finds sources fine...

Still Not Working
 

Thank you so far for all the responses..I literally left my LW on for the past day and not a single file was downloaded. EVERY time I looked at it, it said Awaiting More Sources or Need More Sources...Doing a search on these files only bought me a ton of "exe files" which prob had viruses, so I am at a loss on what to do..

Does anyone have any other suggestions, perhaps on Configuaration or anything else
