Movies too Ipod.

I just took a video from Limewire and put it into itunes and then right clikced and converted too iPod. It worked fine but there wasnt any sound on the movie I converted on Limewire or the iPod. Ive been stressfully trying too get some sort of video onto my iPod for about 4 days, please help me!

Well, I'm no iPod expert cause I don't have one but I think your problem might be your iTunes converter. I think this is an iPod Converter and a good one, check it out. Here's the link:

http://www.videora.com/en-us/Converter/iPod/

I think it's Windows only though.

If you want a different one, search iPod Video Converters in Google and you'll find tons.

Hope this solves your problem.

EDIT: Damn didn't know you had to pay for this...Search google and you'll find some free converters that are good.

You might find some help here

Otherwise, try the iPod support site & use their search

Lol no but I have a PSP and I think one PSP converter is like connected to Videora somehow. I found out when I was in a search for a converter.

Anyway, I found another one:

http://www.nurs.or.jp/~calcium/3gpp/...nverter034.zip

3GP Video Converter. I use it. It's Japanese but you'll have to change the language in the bottom box to English. It has different options like for the PSP, iPod, etc. iPod selection is in the bottom.

Open it in the Setup file at first btw.

birdy March 15th, 2006 07:21 PM

OMG yes I've tried that 3GP... The language wouldn't change. I read on a forum (can't remember which one it was now:eek: ) that this language prob happens a lot. So I gave up.

Either Videora isn't user-friendly or I'm just thick:D

Ive been trying Videora for nearly 4 days and every time the file dissapears or fails too load to the iPod.

birdy March 15th, 2006 07:29 PM

My Guide to using 3GP Video Converter for the iPod Video:

1. Open the folder and click on Setup:

2. Click on the box to select the English Language:

Im doing that now.

What do I do when it gets too 100%?

birdy March 15th, 2006 09:16 PM

Well, I've done that. Converted a small mpeg2 video. Got it into iTunes, right clicked to convert it for iPod (just checking). It said it was already in the right format (still said mpeg2 beside the file). Got it onto the iPod but hey... no sound again.

What did I do wrong?:(

It works! I moved the wrong file, is all. After you've converted your video, it will appear on your desktop (well, mine did...depends if you left the default as desktop). Drag & drop it, update & it plays with sound:D

Thanks 1337_... you're a legend! Now I can put Videora in the bin:)

It'll be saved in your Desktop. Or whereever you decide to put it in. Check the location in the converting box. Connect your iPod to your PC and then transfer your movie there. BTW the iPod is Removable Disk in 'My Computer' I think.

Hehe :D Thanks

Lord of the Rings March 16th, 2006 07:45 AM

That's good you people found another converter! :)

As I very vaguely recall about videora (the free version I think), there's an option you need to tick to include sound. So you need to check the program's options. I've never used it so I can't say more than that other than what I recall reading about other people who had made the same mistake. But you people don't really need to know anymore anyway. :D

mindfreakpirate November 13th, 2007 10:04 AM

ummm neither of the video converters will download for me do you have any suggestions?

pickles08 November 25th, 2007 05:26 PM

I can't drag and drop...what am I doing wrong?

Remoc November 25th, 2007 05:41 PM

MindFreak and Pickles,

This Thread is almost 2 years old. Can you start a New Thread and elaborate on the problems you are having because there might be more recent fixes.
