Default i think i need help.....

o.k im new to this....? so be kind...!

i have heaps of music, how do i tell if my music files are available to other users...?

ive gone to tools and click'd on my music files, but are they ment to cross over to my limewire files or do other users search directly through media player....?

when i search audio files only, i fill out all the fields and i always say's my search is to specific, and i need to make my search smaller?
if i have the correct song name, album, artist and genre, should this happen....?

p.s feel free to email, mesg ect.ect...
i dont mind a chat either....!

Go into your LW library, click on Shared with the folder beside it... these are the files that other people can download from you. Tools > options > sharing & you can add extra folders to share, if you want to. The default folder for sharing is C:\Documents and Settings\your name\Shared.

WMP has nothing to do with it. Clicking on tools there won't tell you anything

For your searches, try just going for artist & song title. Sometimes, even that might be too specific! I've found that either artist & song title, or artist & album are usually enough to get you some good search results. If you're looking for really rare stuff, the All Types search is often better than Audio.
