Stop sharing is indeed the option (my mistake) and using this will turn the file red. It will however remain in the Library until such a time that you remove the folder containing it from your share.

The file will however be saved on your pc, whether shared or not. If you highlight the folder the file is in and click explore it will show you where the file is.

I have already warned you about using "delete" on library files
