Help Needed :-( I have some downloaded stuff in my 'library' section. I ahve uploaded these fine onto my ipod. Now I want to delete them, but if I do, itunes no longer seems to recognise them. How do I delete them without losing the info please? Also, I ahve downloaded an avi. (Movie) I cannot preview it, and I'm not sure how to go about putting it onto a dvd. I have Nero. Thanks in advance folks! Tori x |
Read this first. http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...threadid=49851 What is in your library is what you are sharing. Do not delete ... select "remove from share" Burning ... Someone will come back on that ..or I will later:) |
DVD avi issues http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...light=burn+dvd http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...threadid=53940 Are a couple of links you may find helpful, but lease ask if you need more help .. Burning is not my subject:) |
re Thanks hun. I don't have an option for 'remove from share' but i have 'stop shring' which im assuming is the same thing, but it does not remove it, it just turns it red. I want to remove it from the library and somehow save it on my pc, so my itunes has something to back up from. Or do I just have to leave it there? Thanks |
Stop sharing is indeed the option (my mistake:)) and using this will turn the file red. It will however remain in the Library until such a time that you remove the folder containing it from your share. The file will however be saved on your pc, whether shared or not. If you highlight the folder the file is in and click explore it will show you where the file is. I have already warned you about using "delete" on library files I hope this helps |
