? regarding transfer to itune & ipods
 

Hello, I had purchased limewire several months ago and I've been able to download music then drag it to itune then update it to my ipod video w/o a problem...But today I purchased several songs that I was able to drag to itunes but it wont update to my video 30 GB ipod, eventhough I can listen to the songs on the itune. Why does it not update into my ipod anymore...I tried reseetting the ipod, upgrade checks on itune and my ipods w/o any results, can you help please...I thank you ahead of time!!!:)

If you purchase the songs, then I think there's a permission issue at hand. AFAIK Unless I'm mistaken, open iTunes & go to the Advanced menu, then select De-Authorize computer. When you purchase songs, I think you're only licencing them to be able to downld & play on your computer. But I could be wrong. However I had thought you were allowed to make at least one copy of them or something. If you want to know the exact answer, post on the iTunes or iPod forum. iPod Forum
