Well honestly, if your connection is really slow then I don't think that Pro would make much difference. What broadband speed do you have? When I had 256K broadband, I didn't notice a huge increase in download speed... maybe about 5KB/s faster with Pro, when downloading from multiple hosts. It will give you better search results, so if you're looking for rarer files this can be a help
