Default PRO VS Basic

Is it me or by purchasing the PRO version, there really aren't more search results? In fact nothing really seems different. I only get a few hundred results per artist and most of them are the same songs. Is the 'PRO" really any better? I feel ripped off.

Why is this a poll?!? No need for another one when there are prev polls just like it. Only fools pay for P2P. Gnutella is an open Network, you dont go any faster if you pay or use the free basic version, search results ARE the same no matter what P2P software you use. All the P2P apps use Gnutella Network, to pay for a P2P app is the most insane thing Ive ever heard of. I have never paid to use P2P andthese topics are really starting to get old now. And paying for a P2P program doesn't make downloading legal. If you want to waste your money then pay me 50 bucks and I'll give you the songs you are looking for, no? dont want to do that? Didnt think so.

I must say that in my case PRO helps a great deal, but that's maybe because I am after rarer files. Like getting 4 results all with 1 host with PRO and zero with BASIC (exept off course for the junk results and viruses) which by the way also popup using PRO

If you only search for popular stuff then there is probably not a great need for it. Using Limewire is also an art of using the right searchphrases. As time goes by you will figure out how to search

Hobo, shutup. I was merely trying to prove a point about paying for P2P. You wouldnt hand me a bundle of money for a P2P app, why hand it to someone else and I dont believe for one second that you get better speeds, or downloads because YOU CAN ONLY GO AS FAST AS YOUR ISP ALLOWS YOU TOO.

You wouldn't pay me but you'd pay Limewire that Was MY POINT, LOOK AT ALL THE SCAM SITES?!? If it wasnt for pro version, they'd be no need for scammers. Cant help it if you're that brainwashed or too stupid to figureout what I meant.

I can use Bearshare and get the same damn results.

Its a bunch of crock so the programmers can get rich off it and NO iIwill NEVER pay for it because Im not an idiot.

If I wanted to pay for music downloads I would have stayed with Napster.

Default Have you ever tried PRO

Sphinx

I have tried using BASIC on one pc, searching for something and not getting a single result. Then shut down limewire on that computer and turning on mine which I have PRO on and got two results which even downloaded from 5 hosts (maybe file was misnamed or something)

Just to test it I shut down limewire on my PC and tried the other one again. Still no result.

I have also tried BearShare Lite before and didn't like it one bit. I also tried Kaaza Lite and many others and must say that I like limewire the best.

Also there is no need to get rude, and there is nothing wrong with supporting the development of Limewire, allthough I think they made a terrible mistake with the junk-filter and some options could be better. I think that they jumped the gun with 4.10. Also the force ultrapeer status should be an option

well from my limited experience of using oth the free version and pro version of limewire i've found there is very little differance between them except that 'some' things are a little quicker to download but the speed differance is very slight but not enough to warrent paying for
