Limewire songs in Itunes, but not how to get them on my Ipod?

I have my Limewire songs in itunes and they play when my itunes are open, however, I cannot load them onto my ipod and they will only play when Limewire is running at the same time. How do I get the songs onto my ipod, that was the whole point of downloading them, right?

Thank you Hobo! Although it took a while to drag every song over into my library, it doesn't matter, because it WORKED!!! And now all my thousands of songs are finally on my ipod! Thanks!!!

Glad you sorted it. I think you will find that you can highlight any number of files at once and drag them together.... even if it's a little late
