limewire was working just fine but I exited it. But then an half an hour later i restart it and it says We're sorry Limewire can't restart your old downloads....I had like 100 things downloading.....one why did it happen and two can it be fixed?

My guess is you shut down LimeWire before it was through saving that is what causes that problem. Can it be fixed, I doubt it. You will most likely have to start over but having 100 files DL at a time is asking for trouble it takes LimeWire a long time to shut down with that many files DL and it also makes it hard to connect when starting.
