Corrupt Files!?

Hey everyone. So at times when I play songs from my library they sound scratched.I was reading about corrupt files and how some of the songs have viruses and that the thing to do is to double click on the size thing so the largest files show up first.I'm doing this but I don't know how this is supposed to prevent me from downloading corrupt files or why the songs sound scratched.Any advice?

Are you using the LW player? It's not very good. Try disabling it (tools > options > player. Untick 'use LW player' & apply) & making something else your default player.

Preview your files during download, that way you'll get some idea of whether a song sounds ok & if it's the song you're looking for (some files are misnamed).

Scan a file with your AV program before you open it, that way you won't get a little virus surprise:)

Yup yup. The LimeWire Player sucks. Always check if files have viruses before opening, and yeah, if the sound of the song sucks, get another copy :D
