Junk data downloading

I have had problems lately from files (good files) starting to download at high speeds and the percentages going up and up, untill reaching about 50 and then going straight back down to 0 and restarting at high speeds again. I have tried previewing the files and there is no data on them.

This only happens when Peerguardian isn't on (I sometimes forget). Then when I turn it on it will go to need more sources for a while then waiting in line and finally starting to download for real at much slower speeds than before, but getting real data (previewing works)

Has anyone else had this problem? It only started about a week ago

BTW I use 4.9.37Pro which has been working great for a long time, I never have had any problems with it untill now. Also for periods I constantly keep losing my connection to the network for short periods of time (so short that files that are downloading don't get qeued or anything) this too has only happened when I tried upgrading to 4.10.5 and went away when I downgraded again untill now that is
