Will someone help me?
 

I just installed limewire onto my computer, and when i try to connect to limewire it says a firewall is preventing form connecting, and the only firewall i have is windows xp firewall. The majorty of the threads i have read have to do with firewalls, and i'm not connected through any routers, i just have regular old crap dail up connection. Which might be my problem. But i would be very much apprecated if you help me.

And if there is another thread with the same problem please direct me there.

If you're using windows Xp then it has its own firewall. See tips here Connection problems? Check here first! (click on link) & BTW most high speed modems have NAT firewalls! ;)

Doin the simple test my test worked. I did the firewall configuration and i didnt do anything. Ans I dont have adsl/dsl/broadband/satellite or cable modems or am i using a router.
Any other suggestions.
