I want to thank everyone who contributes here. One day my limewire pro just up and guit, saying I had a firewall problem, i never had a firewall problem but I did everything posted to do and calling isp for info. Finally 2 days ago after redownloading J2se and limewire for the umteenth time I shut down pc for a day. I just tried limewire after 2 day off and behold I turbo connected. Dunno, I'm happy now. I do have a question though; Sometimes I have the win. media player symbal next to the songs I download and sometimes it shows {2 music notes} symbal. Can anyone tell me what that tells me???? Thanks again everyone. Maybe I can help some else sometime

Mine does the same thing. When it shows the 2 music notes, it's using the limewire icons, and when it shows the wmp icon it is showing the player you have set as default to handle that type of file.

I don't know why it does that, but mine will switch between the two. It is only cosmetic and doesn't seem to affect the way LW works or launching files. I've tried deleting LW pref folder and deleted java and LW and reinstalled. But it still does it. :confused:
