thank you paul | Hmm, I am using Nero by myself (though not to burn DVD's). Any of my AVI files I first convert with a program (WinAVI). I did burn them once without converting and it didn't work for me (I think it was a problem with the picture and sound not synchronized, if I recall it correctly). As for the DVD plug-ins for Nero, they cost extra if I am not mistaken.
