Is there anyway to permanently block those users who refuse to share?

Ferral April 13th, 2006 01:49 AM

Get a life. dont stress about it, as Hobo says, there is no way to tell if someone is sharing or for sure.

Hey Ferral,

You ought to take your own advice and stop trying to be cute. I have over 9,000 files that I am Sharing.

Eh? sorry lost me there.

As I said Dont care how many files you or anyone else are sharing, just happy to be able to get what I want and do my own thing on P2P. People are welcome to download anything they want from me, I dont stress about whether they are sharing 1 file or 50,000 files (likely as not I wont want 49,999 of em anyway). Got better things to do than hover over the old upload list searching hosts!, suggesting you might might be less stressed by adopting the same philosophy.

PS I am definately not cute! unless your using those chat room jokes as a definition :)

Perhaps Limewire needs to do two things. 1 assign a specific user ID to get around the IP issue, 2. return a message showing too many queued or simply not sharing so that people are not blocked unnecessarily
