Default Sharing Folders?

Hi everybody,
Ok here's my story: I need help as to where my audio files go after I download them. I have Limewire on my laptop and my brother has recently downloaded it to our family computer. A friend helped me set mine up and now I am trying to do the family's.
On my laptop, my downloaded files first go to my Limewire library. In this folder, I then right-click and drag the file to "My Itunes Shared Folder" on my desktop. Here I double click the file and it opens in Itunes. This is convenient enough for me and I am trying to do this for our family computer. I figured it out thus far how to get the newly downloaded songs into a "My Itunes Shared Folder" but in the process I had to delete the original folder that the audio files were going into. I did this because the new downloaded songs were not going into my "My Itunes Shared Folder." (I hope this makes sense!!)
Basically I am asking how to get previously downloaded songs into "My Itunes Shared Folder." please please PLEASE email me at edited to conform with house rulez with your advice, help is MUCH appreciated.

Thank you!
Sarah
