I don't know if i am thick or what.........I have tried as you have suggested but i am not getting up the right box. I can open with but it is only doing the individual tracks, I am glad i have found this site it is a really nice community, is there a better music download site than Limewire???

Oh dear

Aw Hobo you have gone to so much trouble to help me, but alas to no avail, I don't get up the same boxes as in the video, as I said before it will only play one at a time, the second box that is there I have seen on my pc but not this time when finally I know and understand what it is for!
I take it I am doing this action on my shared music file and not from within Limewire???

That's right, you set the default from outside of LW. You may need to restart LW for it to take effect. For setting audio default, this example shows how to do it for winamp: http://www.gnutellaforums.com/attach...4&d=1127372927
So use the explore button to open up your shared folder; go to your LW Library window, select Saved Files folder & press the Explore button. Sample image here: Using Library Explore button to access downld folder (click on link) & the folder will open up for you.

For this to work with wmp, you'll need to disable LW's media player. Go to LW's menu bar, Tools->Options->Player & uncheck option. As suggested, you may need to restart LW for this to take effect.

Hello Lord,
Thank you for your time, this is not proving to be as simple as it should be...:( I don't seem to have the same list in my file button as expected, so frustrating.
I have however discovered that i can go into folder options where it says to play with power dvd my audio cd's if i click on edit the application used to perform this action is itunes. Now can i delete that and put in windows player and will it work? also how do i find out what to type in for the address or location of windows media player,
Regards katz.

katzyin, what OS are you using? Win XP?

Within your WMP, go tools > options > file types. Select the file types for which you want WMP to be the default player (tick all the file types you want). Apply. Ok.

See if that gets the stupid thing working!!

I am almost sorry that I now don't have a problem as it means i don't get to communicate with you nice people......I am useing XP and suspect that I am the stupid thing, lol, anyhow thanks to you all for the support,
Regards katz x
