commented music - ID3 Tag information - good or bad?
 

Is commented music usually bad. Does it usually have malicious stuff packed in it. Because people sometimes write stuff that doesn't make sense. And some people put a whole bunch of symbols. Can someone please tell my why people do that? and answer me first question also. Thank You:)

Are you refering to the comments section of the id3 tag of an mp3? Yes sometimes the comments section doesn't translate across properly. I'm guessing it's related to specific id3 tags of some programs that aren't universally translatable. ie: their tags are not properly translated or converted by all mp3 audio programs. The problem may be either or both as a result of the program that creates the tag or of the player that tries to translate/decode it. Some players can't decode tags that are later versions than they can handle or of a different type that they aren't designed to handle. Or of a tag that originates from a tagger program that isn't universally set & is thus very poorly designed.

Sometimes the comments dont make sense or they are offencive. Should I still download it?:confused:
