Having a problem with the Limewire sales

I have purchased Lime Wire Pro last year in august. And I have changed my computer last month. So asked the techsupprt what I need to do to re-install lime wire pro into my new computer. The answer I have received was just ridicoulous.

They are saying that because I have purchased Lime Wire Pro more than 6 months ago they can't give me a download page. I am not asking for the new version of lime wire pro. I am just asking for the version I have purchased last august. So bacially the software I have purchased.

Is this a joke? Any comments would be appreciated!

thank you

Mustafa Arikan

P.S. Hereis acopy of the e-mail I have received from the sales dep. (notice there is no greeting or kindness! )

Technical support and PRO updates are only available to PRO users for 6 months
after the purchase date, which was in August of last year. At 6 months after
that date, you would have received an email asking if you would like to
purchase a download page for an additional 6 months at a reduced price. If you
declined to renew at that time, your purchase page would have expired. After
that, Limewire PRO is no longer available for download without repurchasing.
There is also no way for me to provide you with a download link. You may,
however, continue to use LimeWire indefinitely provided the software is still
installed on your computer or you made a backup copy.

Thanks,
Zenzele

No unfortunatley thats what happens, you should of kept a backup copy on disc...You see the Pro you had is nearly 12 months old. If they were to send you a new copy you would have an updated version for free, because you only paid for 6 months of updates...Hope this makes sense...;)
