can't access incompletes

I can't access my incomplete files. I've tried from limewire, from my computer, and file search and everytime I click on it, explorer shuts down or limewire shuts down depending on what way I'm trying to access it. I can't even right click on it to scan the file. I've even tried reloading limewire and nothing changes. Is there any advise on how to get to this file from another way, or anyway to fix this problem? I like to keep that folder clean as possible. Please Help! Thanx!

Try accessing the file through your Docs and Setts - User - in there should be a folder titled Incompletes...;)

Thanks for the reply. It almost worked. 1st outlook crashed once I clicked on docs and sets. So I ran a scan on C drive and nothing came up. Then I was able to go further till I found the file you mentioned and it did it again. I'm afraid this problem has spread beyond limewire and is a more serious problem. Anymore suggestions are welcome!

Is there an error report comming up before you crash??

Sounds like you may have a virus possibily a new one. Are you trying to access these files with Outlook.?

Yes there is an error report that comes up everytime. I thought it was a virus too, but when I scan my hardrive, nothing comes up. I appreciate your help.

What does the error report say

You may have an offending file in your folder, I have experienced something similar but not to this extent...
When the error report comes up get all the details of the file thats causing it...
Go to search and enter this file into it when it shows up delete it...
I cant be sure this will work but you can try it...
If it doesn't we will still try to help figure this out ;)
