What's up with the search??

I've been using the version 1.8 for a while now and can't seem to figure out the search issues. I'll type in my query then hit search and come up with NOTHING, then 2 seconds later do it over and get like 200 matches. Is this common with the search function?

1st goto your connections tab and see how many connections you have going... the default is 4. If u have dsl or cable T-1 , T-3 ect you can change it to more then 4. That will connect you to more hosts then u would have a larger # of files that the search can go through to find the file u want.

As far as your getting 0 results then getting 200. Remember everytime u type something in the search field your going to hit a different server . So yes that is normal and the amount of hosts and files being shared across the network changes by the second .

Personally I don't like 1.8 as opposed to 1.6 cuz the older versions showed at the bottom left how many hosts u were connected to and the amount of files being shared . I don't see it on 1.8 it just shows how many files your sharing . Hope that helps good luck !!!!!
