Hi all

I just got my new computer and ADSL internet up and running this weekend, I was looking for a good site to download movies and music etc., I found one called www.moviedownloadpro.com and I was wondering if it was ok to use etc.,
I'm still new to all of this down loading stuff...

Thanks in advance,

Rgds
PS does anyone have feed back on any of the websites that I came across:-

www.dailywav.com
www.mp3rocket.com

Thankyou.....

Moviedownloadpro and other scam sites

Poppit

First of all, let me congratulate you for seeking advice before buying into this "so-called" download site because most newbies who are ripped off go charging in, waving their money and payment details, like a bull in a china shop.

This site seems very sophisticated and very pleasing to the eye and persusive on the ears but they don't say that they own the music, films or games you will be looking for only that they will help you look for them.

So that means they do not own anything or have any servers that will do anything other than take your money. Plus, there is absolutely no guarantee that you will ever find what you are looking for.

The only way you can guarantee that you will be able to download films legally is to wait until the big studios start to offer them online, I understand that Sony and Disney have announced that they will be offering films online in the near future. You can download music legally via Amazon.com or any of the big record stores with a web-site.

If you try to get DVD quality films from anywhere else you are likely to get ripped off, get poor quality and illegal pirated films or something worse.

Be smart, don't fall for internet adverts that seem too good to be true (and that "Moviedownloadpro" falls into that category).

Another Movie Download Sites Collection

Hi Poppit,

Here is another resource of resources that allow you to download movies. They have a fairly good collecton of movie download sites. The reason I say so is coz where ever I go to search movie downloading one of the sites from this one pops up.

Here is the url to Movie Download Sites Collection: http://www.scam.com

Nice try....mamtasaini !!

But let me tell you that, this site is as much a scam as all others mentioned above and in the links referred to.....

I go even so far to infer that you are a spammer......but, I won't delete this post, because I want other members see how those who run such scam sites try in a subtle way to get unexperienced users to subscribe to their "scam" service........

Oh, yeah,...one more thing......I'll watch your steps here in the forums and, well, I guess you know what I mean......don't ya??
